When you diet, you work against your body.
You stress it out.
One of the biggest breakthroughs in my own weight loss…
Was when I realized that my “on and off” dieting was adding stress to my body.
I was starving myself, followed by blowouts.
I’d be good for a few days and then I’d just lose all control.
When I lost control I would eat anything and everything.
I had tried it all…
- Restrictive diets
- No Carbs
- Low Calories
- No Sugar
- No Fruit
- Skipping Meals
Why Diets Don’t Work
Diets don’t work because they make you hungry and angry: I call that “hangry”.
That’s because your body’s not receiving the nutrition it needs or the fuel it needs to perform at its best.
It affects your physical, your emotional and your mental strength.
You just end up really hungry and really angry.
You lose all of your positivity.
Why Diets Don’t Work: Diets Cause Cravings.
Diets starve your body of the nutrition it needs so you start getting cravings.
Cravings for all the silly things- Chocolate, sweets, cakes and pastries.
Why Diets Don’t Work: Missing Out
When you’re on a diet you always feel like you’re missing out.
Everyone else is enjoying something and you feel like you can’t have it and it’s not fair.
It might be when you’re around family or friends or at a social engagement.
A voice inside your head says, “why do they get to have it?”
“it’s not fair”
Before you know it you’ve given in and your diet’s just gone out the window.
Why Diets Don’t Work: Diets Cause Emotional Eating.
Being hungry, getting cravings and feeling like you’re missing out just makes you want to eat…
You feel like you just need that Kit-Kat or the chips or the pastries or the cookies.
You start giving yourself reasons to justify why you should have it.
All of this just makes you miserable.
Today I Want You to Quit Your Diet.
Instead of working against your body and stressing it out…
I want you to work with your body
Here is How:
1. Nourish your Body through eating heaps of food each day.
Here’s a day of food from my “Drop a Dress Size Challenge”.
Thats heaps of yummy, nourishing food.
2. Eat Incredible food with lots of variety to keep you interested.
You can eat incredible food with tons of variety and still get into awesome shape.
I personally love food.
I’ve created heaps of recipes for my members to really enjoy,
- sausage rolls,
- spaghetti bolognese,
- banana bread,
- eggy bread,
- muffins and spring rolls…
These are just a handful of the meals that are in my program.
3. Keep it Fun & still Enjoy the Yummy things with Slimdown Snacks
It’s also great to keep it fun and still enjoy the yummy things.
You can do this by replacing unhealthy treats with what I call “Slimdown Snacks”.
Slimdown snacks are recipes I have created that taste like a treat but actually help you to burn fat.
Slimdown snacks are full of nutrition that’s going to fill you up.

Satisfying those carvings will allow you to stay on track.

4) Once a Week Enjoy a Meal of Choice Guilt Free
Another great tip is once a week enjoy a meal of choice guilt free.
It can be a meal with the family or with friends at a barbecue
It could be:
- a pub meal
- a breakfast
- a take away pizza or Indian or Thai
- some tacos
- or a delicious dessert you can look forward to once a week.
