I got inspired and created a brand new post “The 10 “Must Know” Tips for Totally Transforming Your Body”…
Here is number Tip 1…
1. Be CLEAR about you really want..
You need to know where you are going before you start your journey.
What is it you REALLY want to achieve with your Health, Fitness and Bodyshape in the next 3 months?
Make it Realistic and Clear.
Example: from one of my VIP Members
2. Plan to Succeed..
When it comes to transforming your body you can’t just “WING IT” or try and “fit it in” with your current routine or make it up on the run.
You need to map out exactly what you need to do in regards to your nutrition and workouts to achieve your goal.
… It’s OK to seek help from a professional.
3. Build up your fitness over time
Forget the ‘ALL or Nothing’ or ‘Weekend Warrior’ Approach.
Be realistic about where you are at right now and listen to your body as doing too much too soon will see you injured, miserable and frustrated.
Building up your fitness overtime via a well-designed and thought out workout plan will allow you to enjoy and look forward to each workout.
4. Achieve Small Goals Often
I like my members to achieve small goals OFTEN.
This is why all my challenges are 14, 21 or 28 days at a time.
This way you get to RESET, REFRESH and become Re-inspired each time you achieve and set a new small goal.
5. Fuel with nutritious food for energy
Just like a high performance car or a multimillion dollar racehorse you need to fuel your body for the performance and results you expect from it.
Eating small meals often, meals made of nutrient rich ingredients and the right balance of protein, carbohydrates and fats to get you through your day whilst focusing on fatloss and toning.
6. Mix it up – variety
Yes Variety is the SPICE of life and the same goes for your workouts.
I know I personally get bored doing the same thing over and over.
To prevent your body from plateauing or you becoming BORED with your workout routine make sure you change it up
Challenge the body by working it in a slightly new way each time.
Target different muscles from various angles.
Ensure your workouts have a mix of heavy weights , light weights and dynamic strength
7. Hydrate before and after
.Water is essential if you want be performing at your best.
Your body is made up of 70% water – So drink up
8. Be comfortable
Let’s face it, You are going to SWEAT
Get yourself some decent workout wear that will be comfortable
Every major chain stocks a selection of breathable and affordable workout wear
Not only will you feel the part but it will significantly increase your comfort and enjoyment in your workouts
9. Stretch – Focus on your flexibility daily
Your muscles are just like Childrens play-doh.
When you workout your muscles heat up and EXPAND.
When you rest your muscles cool down, shrink and shorten.
To avoid injury and increase your fitness fast ensure you stretch daily.
I often hear people say they cant do squats or lunges or this or that.
I ask how often they stretch and they reply they don’t…hmmmmm.
Think about it – Your muscles are attached to your joints.
If your muscles are tight and you try and bend them they are going to pull on your joints creating pain.
So get stretching and work on your flexibility daily.
10. Rest and Recovery
My clients and members always have a REST and RECOVER day.
My beginners have every second day as a recovery day.
This is essential for results each week.
Over training a fatigues body will see you go backwards and stall your progress.

11. Review Progress and Make Tweaks
Make sure you are measuring and assessing your progress weekly.
Your weekly results are simple FEEDBACK on the efforts you made through the week and feedback on the effectiveness of your program.
When you are compliant with your nutrition and workout plan your results or feedback allows you to make any necessary TWEAKS.
The Tweaks you make will ensure you are achieving your weekly target results that will mean each week you are getting closer to your goal.
