We all know over eating is what causes weight gain.
Over eating is the reason so many of us struggle when we want to lose weight and are on a diet.
But why do we overeat?
Our body needs Food to Function.
Food Gives us Energy.
Food Makes us Mentally Alert.
Our Body is also really Clever and tells us when it needs more food.
Our body uses food as fuel so we can function.
When you are Hungry you eat enough food until your body let’s you know you are FULL.
But why is it that sometimes after eating we get hungry again so soon?
This is because your body has not been satisfied with what it was given…
What you ate didn’t serve a purpose to your body and it couldn’t be used as fuel.
Most food these days is highly processed and full of fake chemical ingredients and this is useless to the body…
Food we eat that cannot be used as FUEL for the Body is Stored as FAT on the Body.
The majority of quick and easy supermarket, pre-made and convenience foods have zero nutritional value to the body.
I see these foods in people’s shopping trolleys in the supermarket every week..
No matter how much of this food you eat, you will not fill up and always feel hungry afterwards…
Your body will continue to send signals that its hungry in the hope you eventually give it what it needs..
It’s kind of like feeding a crying baby a bottle coca cola.
The baby will continue crying and not sleep as you have not met the baby’s needs.
A baby who feeds on its mother’s milk will sleep soundly afterwards…
We have more information about nutrition and fitness than ever before.
Yet everywhere people are still struggling with their weight and continuing to over eat…
The key is to feed your body what it needs and your hunger and urge to over eat will diminish…
We need to get back to feeding our body meals made up from pure foods loaded with nutrition..
Now I am not saying live on salads and vegetables alone…
But to eat Good quality meals made from all the nutrients your body needs…
..meals rich in Pure Protein, Carbs, Fats and Fibre.
