Christmas is coming and here are my top 3 tips to avoid a blowout at the office/ work/ friends end of year get togethers.
My Top 3 Tips to avoid a Party Season Blowout
1. If it’s a Dinner
- Eat Light during the day and then choose wisely…
- e.g choose the Market fish of the day with fresh accompaniments…
…not the Cheesy football sized Parmigiana and chips 🙂
2. If it’s Drinks and Nibbles
- Eat a healthy meal before you go so you are not tempted to mindlessly graze on junk
- Set yourself a drink limit and alternate drinks with Water or Lemon, Lime and Bitters…
- (Skip the sugary cocktails)
3. Be Social
- Away from the treats table…
- If you are talking and participating in conversation you will indulge less.
- (Make it about getting to know and engage with your friends and not about a free for all buffet fest)
